WHAT IS USRAH?

 Meaning: FAMILY :)

- we sit together, helping each other and also talking about

Islam

- UKHUWAH is very important in usrah

History:

- usrah started by our prophet Rasulullah SAW secretly

- at Al Arqam bin Abi Al Arqam home

- they concerned about Mahmudah at that time

 

4 Important Component:

1) Mudhu' - content (about Islam)

2) Daie - preacher (naqibah)

3) Mad'u - target (members of usrah)

4) Uslub - method

 

3 Rukun Usrah:

1) Taaruf - knowing

2) Tafahum - understanding

3) Takaful - helping

Surah Al Hujurat (verse 13)

~ we have to built up a strong ukhuwah among the members

~ Allah will judge us by our 'taqwa' towards Him

~ 'Taqwa' means our fear towards Allah SWT
